Between 2014 and 2019 I co-edited Costume – the journal of the Costume Society with Alexandra Kim. This is the premier English language journal for articles on all aspects of historic and contemporary clothing and celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2017. It has an encyclopaedic coverage of dress history and has published most major dress historians from 1967 onwards. One important achievement was its move from a mainstream publisher to an academic one: Edinburgh University Press in its anniversary year. I continue my involvement as a member of the journal’s Editorial Panel.
